I am looking at lowering the mistress. I have settled on the Ford Racing M-5300-L springs. Cost is approx $204 to $250. They fit 2007-2011 Mustang SVT Coupes with the following info:
1. Gives a more aggressive looking stance as well as increased handling dynamics.
2. Lowers car approximately 1.25".
3. Recommended for use with M-18000-C damper kit and M-5490-B anti-roll bar kit Mustang Jounce Bumper Kit M-5570-A recommended with installation of springs May cause slightly harsher ride compared to stock springs.
Note: Some factory fasteners are one time use. Please reference a Ford service manual for reuse information and correct torque specifications. May require alignment after installation.
Has anyone just installed the springs without all the other stuff? Was there any adverse affect?
Any advice is appreciated!

Terry, I'm not sure about this one, but most all of the Ford Racing parts are really high quality. Michael may know something about this since he has done a "FEW" mods on his Shelby.
BTW, the Shelby was looking GOOD at the last MOET meeting.

I just did the Ford Racing springs M-5300 set (Springs only) and it lowered the car 1” on the front and 1.25" on the rear of my ’06 GT. Better looking stance as well as much better handling.
Just my $.02.

Cool, post some pics with the new springs when you get a chance.

I didn’t get any good photo’s when we bought it so I’m going down to the dealer see if they’ll let me get some photo’s of it next to one that is stock for comparison.
Then I’ll post those. I do know that when I pull up next to other stangs they seem to sit high to me. But what do I know I’m an old man. (High mileage & well used anyway)
