My brother ripped the passenger side mirror off my 96 Cobra this past weekend backing it out of the garage--Thanks bro!!

I have been searching the net looking for a new one but in the mean-time I have started to actually like the looks of it better without it.  I like the cleaner/sleaker look i guess...

Does anybody know if you can buy a delete panel for the mirror?  I have not found one but have not looked extensively yet.  Since I did not find one easily I started to wonder if it was actually illegal to run without a mirror.  Any ideas?

They do look cleaner with out RH side mirrors and I know in the past that mirror was an option but as far as the law stands now I do not know. It would be a Inspection item if required so I would check with the DMV, they should know. However it is hard as hell to see to the right rear while driving so it could make a accident more possible.

I found that it is NOT illegal to be without a passenger side mirror.  The state inspection guys said it was not a requirement, only the rear view mirror.  I was still unable to locate the delete panel.  I ended up buying OE off Ebay.
