Replaced the starter yesterday and fired it up, but it wasn't running right. Checked the oil and..... :( found I was getting water in my oil. Going to start pulling the top end apart to replace the head gaskets after work.

I'll go ahead and put my Edelbrock intake on since I've gotta take the stock one off.

Sounds like a good plan in the intake.

Would be nice to upgrade the heads instead of running the stock E7's, but money is to tight right now. :(

My parts came in. I still have to pull the plugs, unbolt the headers and pull the heads. WooHoo! I'm close to being halfway done.

My head gaskets came in Friday. I just finished pulling the heads off! Going to put a straight edge on the block and heads then start to reassemble the engine.

My goal for this weekend.

-Tomorrow: Clean the block and heads the bolt the heads back on. Put the headers on, check the gap on the plugs and reinstall them.

-Sunday: Drill and tap the lower intake bolt hole that I had welded back on. Reinstall the lower intake and all that goes on the lower intake.

After a busy and crazy week and weekend, all I got done was drilling and tapping the lower intake.

I now have the heads back on. Going to clean my pushrods at work here in a few minutes. Then reinstall them when I get home.

I got the pushrods cleaned and reinstalled. I also bolted the exhaust back on and put the spark plugs in.

Not yet. I don't have much time to work on it. Maybe 45 minutes a week. :( I'm going to do my best to finish it up next week. Wish me luck!
