Oh yea, anything with 'SHELBY' on it anywhere = DOLLARS. Wait a year or so after they hit the streets and you can most likely pick up one a whole lot cheaper.

Ok, I'm a lil late seeing this, but I have to add my comments on this one.  I'll agree it is expensive, after all it is a Shelby.  Anything now days is expensive if it is authentic Shelby.  Another, after you drop 30 grand into a GT then another 34 grand into the Shelby customization you BETTER end up with one awesome ride.  After all, if I sank almost 65,000 into a ride, I guarantee it will be tough competition for alot of folks to beat.  And, last but not least, is something you see on everything that is hi-po in today's market - why does it have to be supercharged??? Anything you see now that is high horsepower is supercharged.  I have 2 words for everyone out there - Natural Aspiration.  If you can build a motor making 500 horse naturally aspirated and getting good fuel mileage, THEN you're doing something.  Okay, I'll step down from my soap box now.

I'm not saying supercharged is bad, because supercharged motors are still fun.  It's just, well, how do I say this.........it's the EASY way to make horsepower. :D I guess that maybe I'm kinda of old school in thought of building motors.  I like the challenge of building a motor that makes pure power, not assisted power.  That not only goes for supercharger or turbochargers, but nitrous is included in that.  I've never been a big fan of that either.  Sure it's all cool, but one wrong tune and your motor goes POP when you lay into it.

Btw, I like the styling of the new GT350.  It looks great with the guardsman blue stripes.  It still needs to be naturally aspirated tho.
