Well all I can say is there was a lot of nice cars at the April 1st meeting. My first meeting and hope to have many more. I am not that great at meeting new people so if you see me sulking in the corner just slap some sense into me.
About me:
I have a 2007 GT/CS convertible color:redfire
March 21st I got my big project. A 1965 Cobra roadster replica by Factory Five. http://www.factoryfive.com The project is just begining and I am sure it will have its ups and downs, hopefully more ups than downs. For those not familar with Factory Five, it bases its kit around using a donor mustang (86 to 04). I have chosen to build mine with a 92 donor drivetrain (EFI). I hope to have around 350 FWHP N/A when done. And that much HP in a 2200 lb car with 3.73's in the rear I will have fun keeping the tires sticking to the pavement.

I was great meeting you last night and we are certainly glad to have you as a new member of MOET! I'm glad that Big Al and Nancy pointed you in our direction.
You have a great looking GT/CS 'vert and that Cobra is going to be a blast to build. Definitely keep us posted on your progress and post up some pics during the build. It looks like that you have a very nice shop too!

I see your cars and nick names but yet I have no idea who you guys are.
Maybe there could be a Real name to nick name area? Although once I get to know the two it will not be a problem.

The real vs screen name thing is a good idea, It would have to be up to the person though, I will make a seperate forum for that and anyone that wishes to may post their Identity. I will start out with current club members only allowed to see it though.

Don't worry, you will get to know everyone in time. I'm Danny Alexander (jdamach1) and Big Al introduced me to you last night at the meeting. I was driving my DD the '03 Azure Blue Mach 1. I worked with Big Al back in the Best Equipment days from '83-'85 long before it became IFS. That was definitely 'back in the day'. Man, I'm showing my age now.

I want to be a member just no apps to sign up. I emailed John since his email was public. If someone has an emailable app let me know. I can print and mail it in.

I can put a face to your name now. So that makes it easy. You was one of the only ones that seemed familar with the Factory Five brand. Although me going EFI & 5.0L did not seem to appeal to some. Although there is many possible combinations and it should be fun at any point.
Is there any true EFI gurus in the club? Hopefully I will not need that much help but there is always those uh-ohs that you come across.

Yes, there are maybe a couple of EFI guys in MOET that have played around with some EFI swaps. David (white35th) might be able to answer some questions too. He has done a tremendous amount of work on his '99 Anniversary GT. I'm an old school carburetor guy. If you were going that route, I could help.
Sorry about the MOET forms last night. We usually have them for the meetings. I think that John can e-mail you one.
Again, welcome to MOET!
