PER CRAIG:
On Saturday, April 12th, our club is promoting a "Drag Race Day" at Cherokee County Motorsports Park in Rusk. This date is great for us because it allows you to run for fun or to be competing in that day's event. There is a test and tune from 11AM to 3 PM. You can run your car in a non-competitive environment and just have fun. At 3 PM, the competition starts. Rumor has it that we will have cars that fit both categories and some of the best mechanics in the club will be there if you need assistance.
We will meet at the north parking lot of Traditions at 10AM and caravan to the drag strip. This track is difficult to find if you have never been there, so the caravan is highly recommended. We will send another reminder prior to the event in case you forget. For more information on the drag race event, call Robert Owens, (903) 534-1111.

I'm going to try the '03 Mach at the track for the first time and see how she does. It should be interesting on street tires.
Who else is in for the fun?

| Go to pepboys if you just need a helmet for this comp. Anything that runs faster than 12.99 requires one i believe... Now that the actuall season started.. i think they moved it back to anything faster than 13.99

Good golly Michael, more toys to install! What else could you possibly add to the Shelby?

I forgot to bring the JATO rockets.. It sure could of helped me.
It would have helped keep the tires from spinning !!!
