Meetings

Mustangs of East Texas meets at Traditions Restaurant, 6205 S. Broadway, Tyler, Texas. Meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 P.M. for dinner with the meeting beginning at 7 P.M. Meetings are open to anyone.

Activities

In addition to the Club's monthly meetings various activities are planned throughout the year. A monthly newsletter keeps members informed of most the events that are of interest to Mustang enthusiasts. The newsletter includes feature articles on members cars, coming events, minutes of the monthly meetings and announcements about club activities.

The club also co-hosts the East Texas Auto and Cycle Show held at Harvey Convention Center in Tyler. This show attracts some of the top cars, trucks and motorcycles from the Region and makes for a colorful and exciting weekend. It is a three day indoor show, with awards given in many classes. Club activities are planned annually with picnics, cruises, track events and other activities for members and their guests to enjoy.

Some of our past activities include a "Bluebonnet Cruise" to the Texas Hill Country, caravans to Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia for national Mustang Club of America Shows, and shorter versions to Shreveport, Jefferson, Longview and other various locations for festivals or events that includes parades, car shows or fund raising activities.
